Knit & Crochet Retreat - Day three & four

Yesterday the weather was bright and cheery so we set off to visit the market at St Jean D'Angely. It was a really lovely morning, browsing the stalls and admiring all the fresh produce. Sue bought fresh fruit, vegetables and seafood - including oysters for lunch and we had a nice coffee in the square before returning home.

In the afternoon we sat and crocheted in the garden, then enjoyed a lovely dinner of paella for dinner in the garden.

This morning we awoke to a thunderstorm and lots of rain so we spent the day in the studio working through our projects. Sue and Christine have chosen to work on a cushion cover design and Hannah is making a beaded crochet hook wrap. All the projects are looking lovely!

This evening we visited a local Cognac distillery and sampled both Cognac and Pineau - a local sweet sherry type of drink - which we all agreed was lovely!

Tonight we had another lovely meal of seafood spaghetti and after our tiring day we have all haeded off for an early night!
